Hi, so I'm very new to BTC and only need to use it to buy things with BTC. Preferably a very low minimum deposit (like $10) and once again preferably a desktop wallet (iOS works too). The simpler and easier the better. (Note: I need to buy bitcoin aswell as trade it.) Thanks for any help!
So I’m trying to onboard my 16yo cousin from a distance... but the Bitcoin.com wallet is not making it as easy as I think we need
Ok so I set up a wallet for my cousin, funded it with a little BCH, wrote down the 12 word seed, and then helped him import that to the Bitcoin.com app to get his wallet, easy right? No The first thing he tells me is the app wanted his iCloud account to log in, so he gave it... ugh... that should be later, and an option, not the FIRST dang step... Then he sends me a screenshot of the main screen, it lists “My BCH Wallet” in green, and “My Bitcoin Wallet” in orange below... again arg, why can’t it be “BitcoinCash” at least!?!? Of course he says “ok I see Bitcoin, but what’s BCH?” Then I tell him to open the orange Bitcoin wallet, then the 3 dots at top right, then delete the wallet - which can’t be done apparently - WHY!?!? I know Bitcoin.com doesn’t want to be TOO UNFAIR to BTC but geez, they should really make the initial experience a little bit better for newbies... and BCH
SMS is one of the basic communication tools we have. CoinText made it easy to send BCH via SMS. Likewise, Email is a basic service that connects mankind via the Internet. But we do not have an email service for sending BCH yet! I would love to have an [email protected] BCH email account/wallet!

''' OP is correct. These days buying Bitcoin and having a digital wallet to store your Bitcoin for as long as you want is extremely easy. What is the best and easiest Bitcoin Wallet apps for a newbie who just has incredible small amounts of Bitcoins?
Im not going to habe bigger amounts of Bitcoins in it, im literally talking about amounts like a few dollars/euros, so even if it isnt the safest option its sufficient. Are there any easy Bitcoin Wallets for Android users?
Seeking Help -- Looking for an easy to use Bitcoin Wallet
I work with someone outside of my country, and the easiest way to pay him is to send him his share via Bitcoin and he transmits it into his own currency. However my best Bitcoin wallets have reached their limit for their time, yet I have a lot to pay my partner today and most likely later on in the week. I'm seeking a wallet that has the following features:
No/a small weekly, monthly, or even daily limit
Works in my state (being Nevada, for some reason my state is blocked on a ton of wallets)
Doesn't take a day to establish my account (since a few require my ID, which I don't mind giving but many of them take a day to reply and approve).
And help on this would be great! And thank you in advanced.
The Tordl Wallet Protocols - Making it easy to safely store Bitcoin
Over the last 6 months I've been putting together an open-source guide on how to create secure bitcoin wallet setups and use them securely. I've named it the Tordl Wallet Protocols. The protocols consider things like security against theft, safety against accidents, and inheritance. I was partially inspired by the Glacier Protocol to create this, though I wanted a guide that was easier to extend and that others could build off of. Currently the protocols are aimed at tech-savvy people, but by no means does anyone need to be an expert in security or programming or even bitcoin to use them. The protocols are also designed in modular pieces, kind of like a software module, so that other projects can point to an individual protocol as part of their own guidance. Some of the pages even have a "variable parameters" section that defines what choices need to be decided on to use the guidance on that page. I'm looking for a couple things about this protocol:
Reviewers to go through it, find mistakes, potential security holes, and other ways the project could be improved.
Contributors who can help actually write improvements and potentially be co-owners on the project.
Ideas on how to find contributors or people who could help me move this project along.

Just transacted bitcoin to another wallet for first time after HODLing for 2.5 years or so, and it hit me how easy it is to transact. Very cool, thought I’d share.
Can definitely see it moving more mainstream with more traction and a weaker barrier of entrance from fiat, especially as money supply becomes more digital. Question though - I’m no expert at all, but say you encounter a problem with transferring to wallets or you want crypto returned... that seems like it could be an issue without gov involvement or some authority getting involved to handle a type of situation such as that properly. Or is that extremely unlikely to happen with such a complex wallet code. Even disappearance of bitcoin such as the Peter Schiff thing that just came up... or maybe that’s just a ruse since he’s not a proponent lol
